The stories are accessible through this platform and through our Vimeo channel. Each story is linked to a particular project or upload format.
We would like to know how and when you use the stories. Please get in touch if you would like to use the stories in education, presentations or other projects. We would ask that all uses of the stories are mindful to the conditions of their use.
We need to know where other copies of the videos are kept/used as in line with GDPR any of the people who shared their stories have the right to have them taken off the site (this is particularly important if the video contains any personally identifiably data).
Videos should not be modified or edited. It is important that they remain the way they were released by us. We ask the participants if they are happy with their videos and that they tell the story that the participant wanted to tell. Therefore, to keep the message of the participants clear we ask that you do not modify any of the clips.
The people who contributed to the stories have consented to their use as an educational and learning resource as part of an international drive to improve understanding around feet and the impact of foot health.
Any other use or modification or editing of the stories without prior written agreement is not acceptable.
Whilst the approach aims to ensure the information edited and uploaded to the site is accurate. It is important that viewers recognise that the stories do not copy the reality of the outside world. But they propose a particular representation and interpretation of the world. Narratives are not “proof” and we do not expect them to be judged as true or false. They represent a particular point of view of a person in a particular time and space.
